What this page checks
BorderPro files truck eManifests with U.S. Customs and Border Protection through ACE and collects CBP’s replies: the 997 functional acknowledgment, the 355 acceptance or rejection, and 350 customs status messages.
While carriers have manifests waiting on a reply, BorderPro checks CBP for new messages every minute. This page shows the result of those checks. It is BorderPro’s view of the connection, not CBP’s official system status.

- Delayed

If ACE looks down
CBP announces ACE outages and maintenance windows in its Cargo Systems Messaging Service (CSMS). Check CSMS first: it tells you whether CBP knows about the problem and what it asks filers to do.
CBP keeps its replies queued while the connection is down. BorderPro collects them when the connection returns, and each manifest then moves to its new status.
For a crossing that cannot wait, ask the port of entry or your CBP client representative how to proceed.
